Question 1

Where do I find my referral code and link?

Accepted Answer

Sign in, then go to Settings → Referrals. That page shows your code, your share link, and every company you've referred so far.

Question 2

What exactly do we both get?

Accepted Answer

When the company you referred pays its first invoice, you and that company each get one month of its plan as account credit — not cash, and not tied to your own plan.

Question 3

Does the referred company need to pay right away?

Accepted Answer

The referral is recorded as soon as they sign up with your code or link. The reward is issued once they pay their first invoice, so a company on the free plan doesn't trigger it until it upgrades and pays.

Question 4

Is this the same as the affiliate program?

Accepted Answer

No. This is the customer referral program, for existing Acturity customers, and it pays account credit. The affiliate program is for anyone who promotes Acturity — bloggers, agencies, creators — and pays a cash commission instead. A sign-up carries one referral code. It is the code in the sign-up form at the moment the company signs up, filled in from the link they came through or typed by hand. If they open a different referral link before signing up, the code from that later link is the one that counts.

Question 5

Can I refer more than one company?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there's no limit — every company that signs up with your code and pays its first invoice earns you another month of credit.
